He thought his skull was going to explode—both from swelling and the squeeze—but he stayed persistent.
“That’s one tough ginger,” he initially heard a commentator say as he freed his head, followed by, “Holy shit!”
His opponent wore a look of surprise because of the head shaped like a strawberry staring back. The referee called a cage side physician, who prodded at the gargantuan hematoma, and soon thereafter waved off the fight.
