MMA Poetry Poetry Challenge

Career Day

Ready to cook a new career?

One yielding the highest returns,

Recognized for surprising turns.

Rings, cages, a canvas—stay clear!

This job isn’t for all, my dear.

Puny paychecks, almost satire;

Two incomes and wishes are dire.

If your halls are filled with dreams to bash,

A rise toward fame, a chase for cash;

Stack money, eat fists, then retire.
