Blood, Sweat, and More Blood

He steps in the cage with a beautiful glow;

The spotlights shine bright; hardened muscles glisten.

Awaiting in his corner to start the show,

Things get real when the opponent’s missin’.

In the barrage of high paced combinations;

Safety relied on his clever gyrations.

A right hook landed, his rage began to flood;

The game became survival, seeing his blood.
