Every MMA fight begins on the feet;

Surprisingly, some fans wish it would stay there.

There’s another side of the sport that is sweet,

And it is when the fighters fall from air.

The cling to each other and search for a trip,

Or shoots on the other, secures a grip,

Slammed to the canvas, hunting for the submission;

The art of grappling: proper position.
