A Change In Plans

The bell sounds, ending the round; two more to go,

Walking toward the corner, aiming for the stool.

The plan starts to fail; his offense moving slow;

If things continue, he’ll look just like a fool.

With visions all week of having his hand raised,

His coach is screaming, though he wish he were praised.

There is still time for the problem to be flipped;

The consequence is being sent to the crypt.
