A couple months ago, Robert’s confidence didn’t have a pulse. He could come across as normal enough to outsiders, however, he didn’t even recognize his own plump reflection in the mirror. Robert leaning over to ask Steve Laruby, the promoter of tonight’s event, about the performance during intermission was a milestone, of sorts.
At the last show run by Laruby, Robert ditched his cage side seat when the juggling clown began tossing chainsaws in the air.
Draped in satisfaction, Laruby assured, “You’ll be impressed!”
The lights went out, and glowing acrobats grabbed everyone’s attention with a performance inside the cage.
