The Write Fighter: Part 3

As the Star Spangled Banner blared over the arena’s speakers, he flashed to what his pattern of behavior would have been had he never morphed into an MMA media member.

Though the lights dazzled above, the summer night was finally succumbing to the sun’s remaining rays, and Robert would be putting a bow on his after work walks to the lake about a mile from their home.

Sparking a joint along the water’s edge, deep pulls filling his lungs and the serenity of the water lapping the shore in light ripples acted as a sort of reset for the day.
