Follow the Rules

In a sport that’s nearly lawless,

Following the few rules is kind,

Or someone winds up dead or blind;

Of course, fighters can’t be flawless,

Attempting to make their foe jawless,

The way of the martial artist;

Reckless brutes they are the farthest,

But sometimes mistakes can occur;

Repeat offenders and we’re sure,

They’ll lose their payday to harvest.
