Six-Sentence Story: When Jokes Cross the Line

Kelvin’s new gloves arrived! They would have been delivered sooner, but he didn’t have the money for the extra fees. 

Kelvin and his roommate, Roger, were always playing zany jokes on one another, but they never messed with food or training gear—until now. 

Ripping open the box, confusion met Kelvin when he pulled out a pair of pink gloves. However, hearing Roger laughing from the doorway, he immediately understood the situation. 

A shot to the liver forced the laughter out of the room, and Kelvin couldn’t wait for the next chapter in his life: a place of his own.
