A minute in and out of gas;
His chest heaves as he gasps for wind,
Then he sees his opponent grinned.
Weakness isn’t allowed to pass;
The fighter knew his ass was grass.
Cardio: coach said not to yield,
Feelings of quit, his fate was sealed.
Wins need more than takedowns and strikes,
Thoughts of loss, anxiety spikes;
Soon, he left the cage on his shield.
