Finally, Matt received a response from the country’s leading MMA team after his recent victory, “We’d love for you to join the squad.”
Matt didn’t even bother replying; he simply started packing. His buddy and girlfriend, whose house he’d been couch surfing at, were happy for him, though they were happier to have their sofa, and privacy, back again.
As Matt’s luck would have it, about a hundred or so miles into the move, his trailer’s axle snapped, leaving him high and dry.
He was forced to take a train back to his starting point and reassess his next steps.
