“Nice costume!”
Trevin endured the same teasing every time he walked past the baseball field on the way to Jiu-Jitsu practice. This day, however, two kids approached him.
One asked, “Are you gonna do Karate chops?”
Trevin was short, “We grapple.”
“Like this,” said the other, slapping Trevin’s chest.
Once the words became sticks and stones, Trevin tackled the kid to the ground and nearly strangled him unconscious while his friend was frozen in fear.
Trevin told them both, “I don’t want to hear anything more from you,” knowing he could have torn those punks to bits and pieces.
