On this episode of the MMA Storytime Podcast, Joe Kropschot, a middleweight out of Team Santos Jiu-Jitsu and El Nino Training Center, joined the show!
Kropschot (4-1) was scheduled to face Ivan Batinich at Bellator 242 on May 9, 2020, but, unfortunately, the event’s doors were slammed shut due to the global pandemic. The virus has forced nearly everything to a standstill, but it hasn’t paused Kropschot’s desire to return to the cage. Amid the state’s shutdown, this Jiu-Jitsu brown belt, as he discussed over the course of the podcast, is staying in shape and eager to take out his frustration on another 185-pound human being. Also talked about were other potential matchups under Bellator’s banner, such as Fabian Edwards or Austin Vandeford; Kropschot was even willing shed several more pounds to face Dillon Danis. All in all, the sound of the cage locking behind him can’t come soon enough.
